Molly Hall

Molly is magic.

She brings humor and enthusiasm to everything she touches, sharing her love of drama and movement with students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Her energy is, quite simply, infectious.

Molly works with students to craft original plays, with roles and choreography adapted to let each personality shine. She has an extraordinary capacity to lift students to perform at their best. In lifting them, she lifts us all.

Molly has been a theatre artist for over 25 years. She began her teaching career with Seattle Children’s Theatre in 1994 and has taught creative drama, acting, movement, dance, and performance to all ages of students in many different programs and schools in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Montana.

Molly is also a professional actor and choreographer here in town. Her favorite recent projects include acting in Communicating Doors and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, both with Lamplight Productions,  and choreographing Tuck Everlasting for the Kitsap Forest Theater.

She has an extensive background in movement, including: ballet, jazz, modern dance, and stage combat and an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program. Molly finds enormous joy in sharing her love for theater with children, and watching their imaginations take flight.

As a University Cooperative School parent for many years, she has immeasurable love for this school and community. Her two alumni kids (Sadie, class of 2015, and Charlie, class of 2018) love coming back to visit, and still consider U Co-op their second home.
