Emma was born and raised in Seattle. She received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington and has completed a year of graduate school through the UW’s College of Education. Emma has four years of experience working for various independent schools in Seattle as an early childhood teacher and assistant teacher. She values community and play in early childhood education, and is inspired by everything that young children learn in their first experiences at school. In her spare time, Emma enjoys playing music with friends, reading, and being in nature.
