Daniel joined University Cooperative School’s faculty during the 19-20 school year as an Assistant Teacher for 2nd grade as well as in the Extended Day Program with all grades. In the 20-21 school year, Daniel was a student-teacher at Hazel Wolf Elementary in a 4th-grade classroom. He re-joined the U Co-op faculty as a lead teacher in our PK-2 pod in the 21-22 school year. He recently completed his Master’s degree in Teaching at the University of Washington.
Daniel is passionate about inclusive education, creative and relevant lesson planning, and teaching authentically as himself. He lives with his fiance and two cats, Holmes and Brandeis. Daniel loves to paddleboard, slackline, bike, ski, juggle, and really anything else that gets him outside. He grew up in the PNW and has lived in Bellingham, Squamish BC, Montana, and now Seattle.
